I believe we are all on this journey together, though we may take different paths. All faiths and traditions should be accepted and respected, including people with no faith.
Most people I have met, believe in something. Though they don’t necessarily follow the beliefs of a specific religion. Often people feel that the faith they were raised in seemed not to offer enough acceptance of themselves or their beliefs. They often stop attending mainstream services due to dissatisfaction, or as a reaction to the statements or actions of members of the church or religious institution.
This results in some questions when it comes to life’s passages.
Who will marry you?
Who will bless your children?
Who will officiate your funeral?
Who can you call on when you need spiritual support?
Who will sit with you when a loved one is dying?
There are clergy, like me, that will support you on your path, regardless of what or how you believe.
